Wisdom = apply

Stand under the ledge of Wisdom’s domain, it will pour into you what must be known from above.

If you seek to know and gain understanding of that knowing, wisdom will lead you to Truth; it will keep you from the precarious ledge overlooking the pits of despair. Wisdom is life and peace. Stand under its statutes, discipline yourself, yield to its dominion in both mind and body and you will become a disciple of truth. You will not be led astray into the slavery of the mind that leads to death and darkness.

Knowledge is the raw unfiltered data
Understanding is the context, the meaning, the interconnectedness of the data points, the relation
Wisdom is the application, the bearing of fruit

What good is knowledge if you don’t understand the meaning; what good is understanding if you lack the will to put it to good use. You cannot have wisdom without learning knowledge and then gaining understanding through time and experience.

Understanding is to stand under obedience to a person and/or process… to submit oneself to a discipline becoming its disciple.

This applies to everything. If you practice the ways of the world and the flesh, you will be a disciple of the world and the flesh. If you practice the ways of the self, you will become your own disciple. If you practice the ways of religion, you will be religious. If you practice the Way of Jesus Christ, you will be His disciple. This is immutable.
